Dr. Fadi Hijazi

Dr. Fadi Hijazi is Division Chair of the Nephrology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Medical Specialty Institute. With 32 years of clinical experience, he has built a distinguished career spanning the Middle East and the United States. He completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, then trained in internal medicine and nephrology in the US, including fellowship training at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Hijazi specializes in managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney transplantation, and dialysis. He brings extensive expertise from leadership roles, including Head of the Division of Nephrology and Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Makassed General Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon, and consultant positions at major US hospitals. His work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he is active in medical education and training.
