Dr. Dima Ibrahim Salama

Dr. Dima Ibrahim Salama is a board-certified dermatologist with over 10 years of experience treating both medical and cosmetic skin conditions. She completed her medical degree and dermatology training in Syria, where she worked in public hospitals and private clinics before relocating to the UAE three years ago. She is now based at Burjeel Abu Dhabi, where she continues to blend clinical expertise with aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Salama has advanced skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin diseases including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and skin infections. She also manages pigmentary disorders such as melasma and vitiligo, and performs skin cancer screening. For cosmetic concerns, she offers laser treatments (hair removal, skin rejuvenation, scar revision), injectables (Botox, dermal fillers), skin boosters, microneedling, PRP therapy, chemical peels, and cryotherapy for benign lesions.

Dr. Salama regularly attends dermatology conferences and hands-on workshops in the Gulf region to stay current with global trends. She is committed to continuous learning and is preparing to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Dermatology. She has particular experience treating paediatric skin conditions and ethnic skin types, and provides comprehensive counselling on skincare and sun protection.
