About Dr. Cynthia Roukoz
Dr. Cynthia Roukoz is a clinical psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychology. She holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Angers in France, and completed post-graduate training at Kennedy Kreiger Institute and Johns Hopkins in the USA. She has worked as a clinical neuropsychologist at leading medical centers in Lebanon and has taught at both the American University of Beirut and Saint-Joseph University.
Dr. Roukoz provides comprehensive cognitive and neuropsychological assessments for children with learning difficulties, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorder, as well as for adults and older adults with cognitive concerns. She treats conditions including ADHD, traumatic brain injury, dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and depression. She uses evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy to address behavioral, emotional, and cognitive impairments across all ages.
She is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults, and brings a lifespan perspective to understanding how neurological conditions affect thinking, behavior, and emotion.
