Dr. Anas A Alani

Dr. Anas Alani is a board-certified cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine with extensive training in cardiovascular imaging. He earned his medical degree from Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq, then completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. He went on to fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Florida and advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular imaging at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in California.

Dr. Alani previously directed the coronary CT angiography program at Loma Linda University Medical Center and served as Site Program Director for the Loma Linda–Arrowhead Regional Medical Center cardiovascular fellowship program, where he trained other cardiologists. His clinical expertise spans heart disease prevention, management of high blood pressure and cholesterol, coronary artery disease and heart attacks, valvular disease, heart failure, irregular heartbeat (including atrial fibrillation), aortic conditions, and advanced imaging assessment of calcifications and blockages in the arteries.
