Dr. Amro Ali Abdelazim

Dr. Amro Ali Abdelazim is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist with over a decade of clinical experience in the UAE. He currently serves as Head of Anesthesia at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, where he leads the anesthesia department and collaborates across surgical and critical care teams. Previously, he practiced at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City, gaining extensive exposure to complex multidisciplinary surgical cases.

Dr. Abdelazim provides comprehensive anesthesia care including general and regional techniques (spinal, epidural, and nerve blocks), perioperative management with preoperative assessment and intraoperative monitoring, and acute and chronic pain services. His expertise extends to disaster medicine, trauma support, and hyperbaric medicine — areas in which he holds specialized certifications. He also incorporates integrative and alternative medicine approaches into his practice.
