Dr. David Simon

Dr. David Simon is a consultant in anaesthesia and critical care medicine with more than 20 years of clinical experience in Hungary and the United Arab Emirates. He trained in medical school and completed his fellowship in anaesthesiology and intensive therapy at the University of Szeged in Hungary, where he also worked in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy before relocating to the UAE. He now practices at Mediclinic Al Ain.

Dr. Simon manages the full spectrum of critical care, including shock (cardiogenic, hypovolemic, distributive, and obstructive), sepsis, trauma, acute organ failure, and acute illness from any cause. He is skilled in invasive and non-invasive ventilation, hemodynamic support using blood products and medications, renal replacement therapy for kidney failure, and nutritional support. He also manages pain and symptom control in critically ill patients, including end-of-life care decisions and organ donation coordination.

His patient-centred approach focuses on thorough clinical assessment and tailored management plans. He is a good fit for patients needing comprehensive critical care in an intensive care setting, whether for post-operative recovery, management of life-threatening infections, or complex organ support.
