Dr. Mohammad Rehman

Dr Mohammad Rehman is an emergency medicine consultant with training across multiple continents. He graduated from Avalon University School of Medicine in the Caribbean and completed clinical rotations in the U.S., Seychelles, and Philippines. After his internship at Dubai's Latifa and Rashid Hospitals under the Dubai Health Authority, he completed his emergency medicine residency at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he served as Chief Resident and mentored residents and medical students.

He manages a broad spectrum of acute conditions: life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and airway crises in both adults and children, trauma, acute medical and surgical illnesses in critically ill patients, psychiatric and behavioural emergencies, and poisoning cases. His procedural skills include point-of-care ultrasound, local and regional anaesthesia, sedation for procedures, vascular access, and wound repair ranging from simple to complex.

Dr Rehman is actively engaged in medical education and professional development. He founded and leads the Emirates Collaboration of Residents in Emergency Medicine (ECREM), hosts the ECREM|talks educational podcast, and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine newsletter. He is a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and a guest editor for PLOS One. He is a good fit for patients needing emergency or acute care from someone experienced in managing life-threatening situations across adult and paediatric populations.
