Dr. Khaled Ghandour (ID)*

Dr. Khaled Ghandour is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Mediclinic City Hospital and head of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Dubai Health Authority. He trained at Cairo University (dental degree, 1984) and completed specialist fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow. With over 30 years of experience, he brings expertise in complex facial injuries and surgical correction.

Dr. Ghandour treats a wide range of conditions affecting the mouth, jaw, and face. His main focus areas include facial trauma (broken bones of the face and eye socket), jaw joint problems, and facial deformities. He performs dental implant surgery with bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, and surgery to correct bite problems using bone-lengthening techniques. He also manages oral ulcers, cysts, and tumours of the jaw.

He is a founding member of the Arab Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has served on Dubai's Dental Examination Board since 1990.
