Dr. Nahar Al Baroodi

Dr. Nahar Al Baroodi is a consultant endocrinologist with over 10 years of experience in internal medicine and endocrinology. She is board certified by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare in Endocrinology, Diabetology and Internal Medicine. Before joining Mediclinic, she worked as a consultant endocrinologist at Gävle Hospital and completed her fellowship training at Uppsala University Hospital, one of Sweden's leading medical centres. She completed her medical degree at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

Dr. Nahar has broad expertise in managing complex endocrine conditions, with particular strength in intensive diabetes care including insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She also treats thyroid disorders, metabolic bone diseases (osteoporosis and osteopenia), reproductive hormone disorders including PCOS, pituitary conditions, adrenal tumors, and resistant high blood pressure.
