Dr. Zabair Ahmed

Dr. Zabair Ahmed is a Staff Physician in Primary Care at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He brings 13 years of clinical experience across the NHS and private sector in the UK, where he worked as a Consultant in Family Medicine for 7 years. Most notably, he was the Clinical and Managing Partner at The Waterloo Practice in West Yorkshire, leading a busy practice with over 10,000 registered patients and driving improvements in patient care through digital technology.

Dr. Ahmed has particular expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, sports performance, and acute trauma management. He spent 6 years as Chief Medical Officer at Huddersfield Town Football Club, where he managed the physical and mental health of professional players and gained advanced training in field-of-play injury management. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is credentialed in concussion diagnosis and management in elite sport.
