Dr. Aly B. Khalil

Dr. Aly B. Khalil is a consultant endocrinologist and adjunct associate professor at UAE University. He completed his medical degree at the University of Marseille in France, then trained in internal medicine at Queen's University before specializing in endocrinology at the University of Toronto, Canada. He now practices at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi, bringing extensive North American and Gulf region experience to his patient care.

Dr. Khalil treats a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, with particular expertise in diabetes management and thyroid disorders including thyroid cancer. He has a special interest in interventional thyroidology — minimally invasive techniques for thyroid conditions. Throughout his career, he established the first intensive care unit at SKMC Abu Dhabi in 2002 and founded the first thyroid cancer program there in 2005, demonstrating his commitment to advancing endocrinology services in the region.
