Dr. Amitabha Majumdar

Dr. Amitabha Majumdar is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King's College Hospital London, Dubai, where he also serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer for Women's and Children's Services. With over 31 years of clinical experience, he trained at the University of Rajasthan, India (graduating in 1994), completed postgraduate training in Calcutta, and earned his Certificate of Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom with advanced certification in urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Majumdar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, endometriosis, fibroids, menstrual disorders, and high-risk pregnancy management. He performs both open and keyhole (laparoscopic) gynecological surgery, including specialized pelvic floor procedures such as TVT/TOT slings, sacrocolpopexy, and vaginal hysterectomy.
