Dr. Naeem Jagirdar

Dr. Naeem Jagirdar is a Consultant Radiologist with nearly 14 years of experience in clinical radiology. He trained extensively in the UK at Yorkshire and the Humber, Health Education England, after completing his medical degree (MBBS) at Karnatak University in India. He joined HealthPoint Abu Dhabi in 2023, bringing with him substantial experience from his role at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK, where he also served as training program director for junior doctors.

Dr. Jagirdar's clinical practice focuses on cross-sectional imaging (CT and MRI scans) of the abdomen and pelvis. He performs specialist CT colonoscopy—a detailed scan of the colon—and has particular expertise in image-guided interventions using CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy (live X-ray guidance). He treats conditions affecting the rectum and prostate, manages fistulas, and provides advanced MRI imaging of the small bowel. His non-vascular intervention work means he uses imaging to guide needle procedures and other minimally invasive treatments.
