Dr. Nicole Sirotin

Dr. Nicole Sirotin is a Staff Physician in the Preventive Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She is among the first physicians worldwide to be certified as a Diplomate of both the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she brings expertise in evidence-based disease prevention and health promotion to her practice.

Dr. Sirotin specializes in helping patients manage and reverse chronic conditions through lifestyle medicine—using whole-food plant-based nutrition, physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, and tobacco cessation rather than medication alone. Her clinical focus includes high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid conditions, asthma, and weight management. She has worked with diverse patient populations, from UAE nationals managing diabetes and obesity to New Yorkers with heart disease and refugees seeking asylum.

Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, she held academic roles at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, where she was Assistant Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the Center for Human Rights. She is passionate about health equity and global public health, making her a strong fit for patients seeking preventive care with attention to social and environmental factors affecting health.
