Dr. Yasmin El-Rouby

Dr. Yasmin El-Rouby is an optometrist at the Eye Institute of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi with 25 years of experience across primary care, hospital settings, and specialized LASIK centers. She holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Montreal and a Master's in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, she was Head Optometrist at British LASIK and Cosmetics Surgery Center in Dubai and worked in private practice in Canada, where she also served as a faculty member and lecturer at the Johnson and Johnson Vision Institute.

Dr. El-Rouby offers comprehensive eye examinations, ocular disease management, contact lens fitting (including specialty lenses), and refractive error assessment. She has extensive experience with keratoconus—a corneal condition common in the UAE—and is skilled in pre- and post-operative LASIK management.
