Dr. Omnia Mosalam

Dr. Omnia Mosalam is a general practitioner at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with nearly eight years of clinical experience. She trained at Menoufia University in Egypt and has pursued additional qualifications, including a Master's degree (Part I) in Neuropsychiatry from Benha University and a Psychiatry Masterclass from Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine. She began her career as a psychiatry resident at Shebin El Koum Educational Hospital in Egypt, completed a student exchange programme at Pilsen University in the Czech Republic, and later worked in emergency care and patient management at IBO Medical Centre in Sharjah and Life Medical Centre in Ajman before joining Medcare.

Dr. Mosalam manages a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, and gout. She performs minor procedures and wound care, treats infections and stress-related conditions, and provides preventive services including immunisations and vaccinations. She also treats respiratory conditions such as upper respiratory tract infections, acute bronchitis and allergies, musculoskeletal problems like low back pain and neck strain, and gastrointestinal issues including irritable bowel syndrome and haemorrhoids.
