Dr. Suzan Elbadry

Dr. Suzan Elbadry is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai, bringing 35 years of clinical experience in digestive health and liver disease. She graduated from Alexandria University School of Medicine in Egypt in 1990 and trained in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Alexandria University Hospital before establishing an endoscopy unit at the Health Insurance Hospital of Alexandria. Since 1996, she has practiced in Dubai, where she has built a reputation for advanced endoscopic procedures and comprehensive digestive care.

Dr. Elbadry treats a wide range of conditions including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and ulcerative colitis), pancreatic and liver diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers. She performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy with polyp removal, and endoscopic treatment of bleeding, ulcers, and digestive cancers. She also specializes in food intolerances, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and fecal microbiota transplantation—a treatment that uses beneficial bacteria to restore gut health.

Dr. Elbadry is fluent in English and Arabic. She has completed specialized training in inflammatory bowel disease at Queen Elizabeth University in Birmingham, abdominal ultrasound in Vienna, and endoscopic mucosal dissection (a precise technique for removing abnormal tissue) in Istanbul. She has contributed to numerous medical research projects throughout her career.
