Dr. Omar Abu Sham

Dr. Omar Abu Sham is an Associate Staff Physician in the General Surgery Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Digestive Disease Institute. He holds a medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed five years of surgical residency training at AlBashir Hospital in Amman, Jordan, one of the region's largest surgical centers. He also completed a fellowship in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery at Royal Medical Services in Amman, combining over 12 years of surgical experience.

Dr. Abu Sham treats a wide range of surgical conditions, with particular expertise in liver disease, gallbladder problems, and pancreatic surgery. He is qualified as a General Surgery Specialist by the Jordanian Medical Council and brings experience in surgical oncology from his previous role at Burjeel Medical City.
