Dr. Hala Mahmoud Abd El Latif

Dr. Hala Mahmoud Abd El Latif is a Consultant Oncologist at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where she leads comprehensive cancer care. She graduated from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and completed specialist training in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy in 1996. She holds a Master's degree and PhD in Clinical Oncology, is Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology (FRCR), and is European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) certified. Before joining the UAE in 2011, she was a lecturer at Alexandria University's Oncology and Radiotherapy Department.

Dr. Hala treats breast, colorectal, stomach, cervical, prostate cancers and lymphoma, using chemotherapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments. Her services include cancer screening and early detection, comprehensive diagnostic testing (blood tests, tumour markers, surgery, tissue analysis, imaging), tumour treatment across all modalities except radiotherapy, and follow-up care aligned with international guidelines (NCCN, ESMO, NICE). She also provides psychotherapy and nutritional support for cancer patients, administers scalp cooling during chemotherapy, manages port devices, and treats cancer-related bone loss.

Dr. Hala is fluent in English and Arabic and committed to patient-centred, holistic oncology care. She actively contributes to research, publishes in international journals, and participates in medical conferences and continuing education.
