Dr. Balazs Hodosi

Dr. Balazs Hodosi is a Consultant Dermatologist with over 24 years of experience in dermatology and aesthetics. He trained at the Medical School of Pécs in Hungary and completed specialist dermatology training at the University Clinic of Dermatology in Pécs. In 2009, he moved to Sweden where he worked in both private and public healthcare, becoming a consultant dermatologist in 2013. He is board certified in dermatology in both Hungary and Sweden. Dr. Hodosi relocated to the UAE in 2019 and joined King's College Hospital London Dubai in 2022. In 2024, he was appointed Assistant Professor at Gulf Medical University.

His practice spans medical dermatology and aesthetics. He manages chronic skin conditions including psoriasis (for which he co-authored Swedish national treatment guidelines), eczema, urticaria, and autoimmune skin diseases. He also treats skin cancers, infectious skin conditions, and offers paediatric dermatology care. For aesthetic concerns, Dr. Hodosi provides hair-loss treatments, acne and acne-scar management, injectables (botox and fillers), laser and chemical treatments for pigmentation, and removal of skin lesions and tattoos using various techniques.

Dr. Hodosi is particularly recognised for his expertise in psoriasis and allergology, having received scholarships from the European Academy of Dermatology and the Scottish Dermatological Society. He held an expert advisory role with the Swedish Ministry of Health and received the Spira Scholarship from the Swedish Dermatological Society in 2016.
