Prof. Farid Alzhrani

Prof. Farid Alzhrani is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon with over 20 years of experience built at leading institutions including King Saud University and Hanover Medical School in Germany. He is a Professor at King Saud University and holds senior leadership roles including Medical Director at King Abdulaziz University Hospital and Chairman of the ENT unit at King Khalid University Hospital. He now practises at Mediclinic Al Ain, where he directs the audiology and ENT departments.

Prof. Alzhrani specialises in ear surgery, particularly hearing implant procedures and neurotology (surgery of the inner ear and skull base). His main procedures include cochlear implants, bone conduction implants, active middle ear implants, eardrum repair (tympanoplasty), middle ear bone surgery (ossiculoplasty), and mastoid surgery. He has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles in otology and neurotology, garnering more than 600 citations, and serves as a reviewer for international medical journals.
