Dr. Attaallh Alrefaee

Dr. Attaallh Alrefaee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Hospitals in Sharjah with 17 years of clinical experience. He trained at Damascus University Medical College, where he earned both his medical degree and an MSc in Orthopaedic Surgery. He further developed his expertise through a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from UCAM University in Spain and a Diploma in Pain Management from Gulf Medical University. He also completed an Arthroplasty Fellowship at the Tarabichi Joint Replacement Center, one of the region's leading joint replacement institutions.

Dr. Alrefaee's clinical focus spans advanced joint surgery, shoulder conditions, and knee problems. He performs robotic-assisted joint replacements and 3D-printed custom implants, as well as minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures on the shoulder, knee, and ankle. His expertise includes rotator cuff repair, shoulder dislocation treatment, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and spine disease management. He brings broad experience from previous roles at major hospitals including Burjeel and Alzahraa in Dubai, Amina Hospital, and Sharjah Corniche Hospital.

Dr. Alrefaee is fluent in both Arabic and English. He is an active member of professional societies including the American Medical Society, European Orthopaedic Society, and Emirates Orthopaedic Society, keeping current with international orthopaedic practice standards.
