Dr. Mohamed Saifeldin

Dr. Mohamed Saifeldin is an experienced pulmonologist with over 10 years of professional experience in diagnosing and managing complex respiratory conditions. He graduated from National Ribat University in Sudan and completed his residency training in pulmonology through the Sudan Medical Specialization Board (2013–2017). He currently serves as Head of the Department of Pulmonology at Thumbay University Hospital, where he also mentors postgraduate trainees and collaborates with thoracic surgeons, radiologists, and critical care specialists.

Dr. Saifeldin's clinical expertise covers asthma and COPD management, interstitial lung disease, chronic respiratory failure, sleep apnea, and pleural conditions. He performs diagnostic bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, and procedures such as chest tube insertion and pleural aspiration. He brings specialized training in lung ultrasound and mechanical ventilation to his practice.
