Prof. Massimo Piracci

Prof. Massimo Piracci is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Department of Sports Medicine at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Dubai, with 35 years of experience across multiple countries. He trained in Italy, earning his MBBS and MD in Orthopaedics & Traumatology from Roma Tor Vergata, and has held senior leadership positions including Head of Orthopaedic Department at Clinic Annunziatella in Rome, Head of Sport, Trauma and Rehabilitation in Abu Dhabi, and Head of Orthopaedic Department in Al Ain.

Prof. Piracci treats a broad range of orthopaedic conditions including sports injuries, trauma to the upper and lower limbs, osteoporosis, and paediatric orthopaedics. He has performed extensive arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, as well as knee and hip replacement surgery. He is trained in advanced techniques including ozone therapy, reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Beyond clinical practice, he holds academic appointments as Dean of the Holistic Faculty at Milano International University, Adjunct Professor of Science at HTC University in Abu Dhabi, and Director of the Orthobiologic Fellowship for the American Board of Regenerative Medicine.
