Dr. Saeed Alseiari

Dr. Saeed Alseiari is a consultant radiologist in the Department of Clinical Imaging at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 23 years of experience in radiology across the UAE and internationally. He holds board certifications in diagnostic and interventional radiology from Germany, European Board certification in cardiovascular radiology, and advanced fellowships in cardiac imaging from Switzerland. Dr. Alseiari also earned a Global Clinical Scholars Research Training certification from Harvard Medical School and an MBA from La Salle University, demonstrating his commitment to both clinical excellence and healthcare leadership.

Dr. Alseiari specialises in cardiac imaging using advanced techniques including cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and hybrid imaging (SPECT/PET/CT). He also provides general radiology services. His expertise spans non-invasive cardiovascular assessment, which helps doctors diagnose heart conditions without invasive procedures. He was the first to introduce cardiac MRI services within SEHA hospitals and pioneered the transition to a subspecialty-based radiology service model in Abu Dhabi.

With over eight years in formal leadership roles, Dr. Alseiari has directed the radiology residency programme and chaired the radiology department at two major SEHA hospitals, as well as chairing the SEHA radiology council.
