Dr. Ana Maria Velasco

Dr. Ana Maria Velasco is a Spanish Board-certified pediatric specialist with over 22 years of experience in child health. She began her career in 2001 across hospitals and clinics in Spain before establishing herself as a trusted pediatrician in Dubai, where she is recognized for her compassionate, evidence-based approach to pediatrics. She completed fellowship training in Pediatric Intensive Care at Vall d'Hebron Maternity and Children's Hospital in Barcelona.

Dr. Velasco manages a wide range of childhood conditions, from neonatal and high-risk infant care to acute and chronic diseases. Her particular expertise includes allergies, eczema, digestive issues (constipation, colic, chronic abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux, cow's milk protein allergy), anemia, nutritional deficiencies, and respiratory disorders such as asthma, recurrent wheezing, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia. She also provides newborn assessments, growth and development monitoring, childhood immunizations (routine and travel vaccines), and guidance on sleep, nutrition, and emotional wellness.
