Dr. Jeevanjot Matharoo

Dr. Jeevanjot Matharoo is a Specialist Radiologist at Medcare Medical Centre Tilal Al Ghaf in Dubai, with over 10 years of clinical experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. She completed her MBBS at J.J.M. Medical College in Karnataka and her MD in Radio-Diagnosis from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belgaum under K.L.E University. She trained as a Fellow in Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Medanta, The Medicity in Gurugram, gaining exposure to advanced imaging modalities including digital mammography, ultrasound, 128-slice CT, PET-CT, and 3T MRI. Her career includes senior residency positions at Fortis Hospital and consultant roles across leading diagnostic centres in India before relocating to the UAE.

Dr. Matharoo is proficient in all aspects of breast imaging—including digital mammograms, ultrasound mammograms, and breast MRI—and performs a range of breast procedures such as core needle biopsies, wire localization, clip placement, and vacuum-assisted biopsies. Beyond breast work, she has extensive training in women's imaging (antenatal and gynaecological ultrasound, pelvic MRI), neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and general body imaging. She has diagnosed conditions across the body using X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

Dr. Matharoo is a Fellow of the National Board and the Breast Imaging Society of India, and holds memberships in the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, the Breast Imaging Society of India, and the European Society of Radiology.
