Dr. Jagadish Nanjappa

Dr. Jagadish is a Consultant Pulmonologist at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, where he has worked since 2018. He brings over 25 years of medical experience, including 15 years working in the UK's National Health Service (NHS). Before moving to the UAE, he was a Consultant Pulmonologist at William Harvey Hospital in Kent and served as Clinical Lead for Respiratory Services there for more than three years. He trained in respiratory medicine at St. James' University Hospital in Leeds, one of the UK's largest teaching hospitals, and holds FRCP (UK), MRCP in Respiratory Medicine, and a Certificate in Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Jagadish specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of lung and breathing conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep disorders, chronic cough, respiratory infections, bronchiectasis, pleural diseases, lung cancer, and pulmonary fibrosis. He performs bronchoscopy (a procedure to examine the airways) and provides breathlessness management. He is GCAA accredited, meaning he meets international standards for assessing the respiratory health of aviation professionals.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Jagadish is actively involved in medical education. He teaches respiratory medicine to students at Mohammed Bin Rashid University in the UAE and previously taught at King's College London and Imperial College London. He has mentored many doctors preparing for the MRCP examination, combining his expertise with a commitment to training the next generation of specialists.
