Dr. Habib Abdullah

Dr. Habib Abdullah is a paediatric clinical psychologist at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with more than 10 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates and the United States. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology from Alliant International University in Los Angeles, with clinical training at Los Angeles Children's Hospital and Primary Care Psychology Associates in Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in paediatric psychology at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Dr. Habib specializes in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), family therapy, and CBT for insomnia (CBT-I). He works with children and families managing sleep problems, chronic pain, mood and behavioural disorders, treatment adherence issues, and the emotional impact of terminal illness or new medical diagnoses. He is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behaviour therapy and offers pre- and post-operative psychological assessment to help children prepare for and recover from medical procedures.
