Dr. Rasha Alzuhairi

Dr. Rasha Alzuhairi is a Consultant Breast Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at American Hospital Dubai. She holds fellowships from both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK (FRCR). She completed specialist training in breast imaging at Imperial College London, where she also earned a Master's degree in Breast Imaging and a Diploma in Breast Ultrasound.

Dr. Alzuhairi has extensive experience in all types of breast imaging—mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomosynthesis (3D breast X-rays)—as well as image-guided procedures such as biopsies and interventions. She has worked on breast cancer screening programs in Australia and the UAE, with a particular focus on identifying high-risk women, including those with strong family histories or genetic predispositions to breast cancer. She previously served as a National Examiner for the Royal Australian College of Radiologists and supervised junior radiologists in breast imaging training.

Dr. Alzuhairi is committed to preventative care and early detection. She has received multiple professional awards from Queensland Health and Dubai Health Authority for her contributions to breast cancer screening programs. Her work combines diagnostic expertise with a patient-centered approach to women's health.
