Dr. Graham Banfield

Dr Graham Banfield is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai with 15 years of experience in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He is British-trained and board-certified, having completed his initial training in London followed by advanced fellowships in Head and Neck Surgery in Cape Town, South Africa, and Facial Plastic Surgery in Germany and the Netherlands. During his career in the UK, he led the head and neck cancer screening service for over a decade and managed the facial plastic surgery service at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

Dr Banfield's clinical expertise spans both adult and pediatric ENT care. He specializes in complex surgical procedures including salivary gland surgery (for stones and tumors), head and neck cancer diagnosis and treatment, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, ear disease management, balance and dizziness disorders, rhinology and nasal allergy, and sleep apnea in both children and adults. He holds a postgraduate research qualification in Allergic Rhinitis and Allergy from Imperial College London, and has published research on vertigo and balance disorders.

He is an experienced trauma surgeon, having completed surgical placements at American Level 1 trauma centres in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has participated in charitable ear surgery programmes in Nepal. Dr Banfield is fluent in English and takes a comprehensive approach to both functional and cosmetic head and neck conditions.
