Dr. Akbar Ali

Dr. Akbar Ali is a Consultant Dermatologist at King's College Hospital London – Dubai with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at Calicut Medical College in India, followed by an MD in Dermatology & Venereology from Trivandrum Medical College. He has undertaken advanced training in dermatology and aesthetic dermatology in the United States, where he deepened his expertise in modern skin treatments and regenerative medicine.

His practice covers medical dermatology (psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, urticaria, and inflammatory skin conditions), skin cancer surveillance and diagnosis, hair and scalp disorders, and aesthetic treatments. He offers laser and light therapy for pigmentation, acne scars, vascular lesions, and hair reduction, as well as non-surgical aesthetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, and PRP therapy. He also provides confidential diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections with dermatological manifestations and specialises in paediatric dermatology.
