Dr. Sunaya Puranik

Dr. Sunaya Puranik is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with over a decade of experience across India and the UAE. She trained at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and completed her master's degree in obstetrics and gynaecology at KLE Society's Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belgaum, India. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) in the UK and holds advanced qualifications in minimal access (keyhole) surgery and assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Dr. Puranik's clinical expertise spans pregnancy care, normal and caesarean deliveries, high-risk obstetrics, and post-natal care. She is experienced in managing conditions such as PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic infections, and menopause-related issues. She performs gynaecological surgeries using both open and keyhole techniques, conducts obstetric ultrasound scans, and carries out cervical smear tests and blood work.

She is committed to preventive women's health, counselling, and education on female health conditions and adolescent gynaecology. Dr. Puranik has independently managed busy outpatient clinics, emergency wards, and labour rooms. She is active in academic and research pursuits and is a member of several professional societies including FOGSI, WALES, and SAGES.
