Dr. Ramy Yasser Raouf Elhawary

Dr. Ramy Elhawary is a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Burjeel Abu Dhabi with over 13 years of clinical experience. He trained at Cairo University, graduating with honors from the Faculty of Medicine in 2011, and completed his surgical residency at Kasr Alainy Hospital (2013–2016). He holds a Master's Degree in General Surgery (M.Ch, 2016) and a Doctorate (MD) in General Surgery (2019), along with Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS, 2016).

Dr. Elhawary specializes in bariatric surgery—including primary and revisional weight-loss procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy, bypass surgeries, and mini-gastric bypass—as well as advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) techniques for upper gastrointestinal conditions, colorectal procedures, and hernia repairs.
