Dr. Amera Marian Varghese

Dr. Amera Marian Varghese is a Clinical Dietitian at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai with 12 years of professional experience. She holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Nutrition and has received advanced training in nutrigenetics counselling, sports nutrition, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Her clinical background began in India, where she gained hands-on experience managing nutritional needs across all life stages, and she has since worked in leading UAE hospitals and the aviation food industry.

Dr. Varghese specializes in medical nutrition therapy for a wide range of conditions: diabetes (type 1, type 2, gestational, and prediabetes), obesity and weight management after bariatric surgery, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, hormonal imbalances (including PCOS and menopause), gastrointestinal disorders (celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis), kidney disease and dialysis management, cancer nutrition support, and eating disorders. She also manages food allergies and intolerances, maternal and pediatric nutrition, and post-surgical dietary needs.
