Dr. Marwa El Ghandour

Dr. Marwa El Ghandour is a pathologist with over 17 years of clinical and laboratory experience. She completed her medical degree (MBCHB) from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt in 1997, followed by specialized training in pathology. She holds a Master's degree in Pathology (2003) and a PhD in Pathology (2007) from the Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University.

Dr. El Ghandour began her career in 1999 at the Pathology Department of Alexandria University, working as a Clinical Pathologist in hospitals and diagnostic laboratories in Egypt. Since moving to the UAE in 2008, she has held senior positions including Head of Laboratory at major private hospitals in Abu Dhabi. Her expertise spans routine and specialized diagnostic testing, laboratory quality management, and clinical consultation. She brings academic experience as well, having progressed from Assistant Lecturer (2003) to Lecturer (2007) and Assistant Professor (2016) at Alexandria University's Pathology Department.
