Dr. Aiad Alwiswasy

Dr. Aiad Alwiswasy is a Consultant Radiologist in the Department of Clinical Imaging at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 12 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. He completed his medical degree at the University of Basrah in Iraq in 2002, followed by radiology residency training in Jordan and specialized fellowship training in oncology imaging at King Hussein Cancer Center.

Dr. Alwiswasy is experienced across the full range of diagnostic imaging modalities including conventional X-ray, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI. He has particular expertise in neuroimaging, chest imaging, body imaging, and spine imaging, with additional subspecialist training in oncology imaging. He currently works predominantly in emergency imaging, where he applies his broad technical knowledge to help diagnose acute and complex cases across all body systems.
