Dr. Lara Ltaif

Lara Ltaif is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 13 years of experience in psychoanalytical and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She holds a Master's Degree from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon and has worked across clinical hospitals, inpatient and outpatient settings in the Middle East and Africa. Before joining American Hospital Dubai, she established a psychometric assessment department in Abu Dhabi focused on identifying cognitive strengths and weaknesses in patients with acquired brain injuries.

Ms. Ltaif treats both adults and children across a broad range of mental health concerns using an integrative approach tailored to each patient's needs. She has particular expertise in anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment difficulties, and personality disorders. She also helps people working through grief, loss, self-esteem challenges, burnout, and post-traumatic stress.

She offers individual, group, family, and play therapy (for children), selecting the most effective modality for your situation. Her approach combines up-to-date psychological techniques with a patient-centred philosophy, aiming for meaningful progress in a supportive environment.
