Dr. Leonardo J. Duin Guerrero

Dr. Leonardo J. Duin Guerrero is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He received his medical degree from Los Andes University in Venezuela in 1999 and completed initial training in internal medicine before relocating to Spain in 2005 to pursue anesthesiology. He completed his anesthesia residency at Hospital Universitario La Fe in Valencia (2005–2009) and subsequently worked as an anesthesiologist at Son Llatzer Hospital in Palma de Mallorca from 2009 to 2017, where he developed broad expertise across multiple anesthetic subspecialties.

Dr. Duin has consolidated knowledge in general and regional anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, acute pain management, and post-operative critical care. During his time in Spain, he also mentored residents in the anesthesia training program and contributed to the hospital's academic and patient safety governance. He now brings over two decades of clinical experience to Abu Dhabi, where he continues to deliver comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care.

He is well-suited for patients undergoing surgery who need skilled anesthetic management, particularly those requiring regional techniques or with complex post-operative pain or critical care needs.
