Dr. Ibrahim Haidar

Dr. Ibrahim Haidar is an orthopaedic surgeon with extensive training in France and Lebanon, now practising at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai. He completed his medical degree and orthopaedic residency at Lebanese University, followed by a paediatric rotation in Paris and a fellowship in sports medicine and lower limb surgery at the prestigious Centre Santy-FIFA Medical Center in Lyon. He has worked as an orthopaedic and trauma specialist at Clinique Du Sport in Paris, bringing international expertise to the region.

Dr. Haidar specialises in the full range of orthopaedic conditions from sports injuries to trauma and joint replacement. He performs advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery on the shoulder, knee, hip, ankle and foot, and carries out complex procedures including ACL and PCL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, meniscus repair, and hip labrum repair. He also treats fractures, paediatric bone problems, and performs joint replacements of the knee, hip and shoulder using minimally invasive techniques. His clinical focus spans hip, knee and ankle problems in both young athletes and older adults.

Dr. Haidar is a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedic and Traumatology (FEBOT) and holds specialist diplomas in shoulder and elbow surgery, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine and knee surgery. He brings an evidence-based approach, having published over 18 peer-reviewed research articles on sports injuries and orthopaedic techniques in leading medical journals. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
