Dr. Arafat Alfikey

Dr. Arafat Alfikey is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with over 18 years of clinical experience across Egypt, Oman, and the UAE. He completed his medical training at Cairo University, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003, followed by a Master's degree in Orthopedic Surgery in 2010 and a Doctorate in Orthopedic Surgery in 2021. He also holds an Egyptian Board certification in Health Care Management.

Dr. Alfikey specializes in both trauma and elective orthopedic surgery. He has performed more than 900 successful knee arthroscopy procedures—including meniscal repairs, ACL and PCL reconstruction, and complex multi-ligament knee repairs—as well as over 400 knee and hip replacement surgeries during his 10 years of practice in the Gulf region. His expertise spans keyhole knee surgery, joint replacement, patellar realignment procedures, bone-realignment osteotomies, external fixation for complex fractures, and management of spinal injuries and lower back pain.
