Dr. Caesar Zahka

Dr. Caesar Zahka is a consultant neurologist with 25 years of clinical experience, holding American Board certification in Psychiatry and Neurology and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from Wayne State University. He trained at Damascus University Medical School, followed by residency and fellowship in Detroit, Michigan, with additional training in paediatric neurology, psychiatry, neuro-ophthalmology, and sleep medicine. He also studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China.

Dr. Zahka has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. He specializes in headaches and migraines, epilepsy, vertigo and dizziness, sleep disorders, multiple sclerosis and autoimmune neurological diseases, stroke and vascular problems, peripheral nerve and muscle diseases, movement disorders, balance and coordination problems, sensory disturbances, and memory issues. He performs diagnostic tests including EEG, nerve conduction studies, EMG, and sensory evoked potentials. He spent 10 years at Damascus University Hospital (the country's primary referral centre) and 17 years in private practice in Damascus before relocating to the UAE.
