Dr. Bindu Gopalakrishnan

Dr. Bindu Gopalakrishnan is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology with over 27 years of dedicated practice in women's health. She trained at Gauhati Medical College in India and later earned her specialist diploma and DNB (National Board) qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology. Since joining NMC Healthcare in Sharjah in 2007, she has played a key role in developing the obstetrics and gynaecology department, serving the large expatriate population across Sharjah and surrounding areas.

Dr. Bindu manages a comprehensive range of women's health issues, including antenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, gynaecological disorders, menstrual irregularities, infertility evaluations, and menopause-related concerns. She is experienced in non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), endometriosis, and urogynaecological conditions. Her approach combines thorough clinical evaluation with timely specialist referrals when needed to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.
