Dr. Khaled Hazeena

Dr. Khaled Hazeena is a specialist nephrologist with over 11 years' experience managing patients with kidney disease and dialysis complications. He trained in Romania, earning his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara in 2004, followed by specialist certification in nephrology in 2010. He is licensed as a Specialist Nephrologist by the Dubai Health Authority and practices at Mediclinic Dubai.

He diagnoses and treats acute and chronic kidney disease, manages patients on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and provides follow-up care for kidney transplant recipients. He places dialysis catheters (temporary and permanent central venous lines via jugular, subclavian and femoral approaches) and manages related complications. He also treats high blood pressure, resistant hypertension, kidney inflammation, diabetic kidney disease, and electrolyte disorders.

Dr. Hazeena is an active member of the European Renal Association and European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA), the Romanian Society of Nephrology, and the Romanian Society of Ultrasonography. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Romanian.
