Dr. Abdul Jabbar

Dr. Abdul Jabbar is a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology with over 30 years of experience in diabetes, obesity, and hormonal disorders. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London (FRCP) and Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). He trained in endocrinology at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London and has held senior academic positions including Visiting Professor at Aga Khan University, where he led the Diabetes and Endocrine Section, and President of the Pakistan Endocrine Society.

Dr. Jabbar specializes in managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes in adolescents and adults, including complex cases with complications such as diabetic kidney disease, nerve damage, foot ulcers, and eye disease. He also guides patients through diabetes in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, and preconception planning.
