Dr. Ranjeev Singh Bhangoo

Dr. Ranjeev Singh Bhangoo is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Clinical Director of Neuroscience at King's College Hospital London. He received his medical degree with honours and the medical school Gold Medal as the top-ranked student in his cohort. He completed his neurosurgery training as the highest-ranked trainee across the United Kingdom and Ireland, earning the prestigious Norman Dott Gold Medal in recognition of his excellence. After his formal training, he undertook a year of specialist fellowship in leading European neurosurgery centres to deepen his expertise.

Dr. Bhangoo manages a broad range of adult neurological conditions. His main interests include degenerative spine problems (such as neck pain radiating down the arm and lower back pain with leg pain), brain tumours, hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain), and brain haemorrhage. He has particular expertise in advanced brain tumour treatment using minimally invasive keyhole surgery techniques, including BrainPath, Visualase laser treatment, Gamma Knife, and CyberKnife radiosurgery, which allow precise tumour removal with smaller incisions and faster recovery.

With over 100 scientific publications in neurosurgery, Dr. Bhangoo is recognized internationally as the Neurosurgeon to both the European School of Oncology and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology. His combination of technical skill, research output, and leadership makes him well-suited for patients requiring complex brain and spine surgery.
