Dr. Michael Harrop-Peel

Michael is a British-trained physiotherapist who graduated from Lancaster University in 2006. Since then, he has worked across the private sector, the UK National Health Service, and sports medicine settings, building expertise in musculoskeletal injury treatment and post-surgical recovery. He relocated to Dubai in 2012 and has since worked in outpatient physiotherapy at various Mediclinic locations.

Michael specializes in rehabilitating the shoulder, hip, and knee after surgery, as well as managing spinal conditions affecting the neck, mid-back, and lower back. His treatment toolkit includes manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, dry needling, and shockwave therapy. He brings practical experience from working with rugby players and maintains a strong interest in cycling and triathlon, which informs his understanding of sports-related injuries and conditioning.
