Dr. Sanaa Mohamed Ahmed Ghali

Dr. Sanaa Ghali is a German board-certified anesthesiologist with over 23 years of clinical experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and the UAE. She trained extensively in Europe and the Middle East, holding the German Facharzt (board certification) in anesthesia, the European Diploma in Anesthesia, and the Arab Board qualification. She is currently a cardiac and anesthesia consultant at Alzahra Hospital in Sharjah.

Dr. Ghali specializes in cardiac anesthesia for high-risk and complex heart surgeries, including perioperative care and pain management for cardiac patients. She holds European board certification in transesophageal echocardiography (a specialized heart-imaging technique used during surgery). Beyond cardiac work, she provides anesthesia for neurosurgery, urology, pediatric cases with congenital anomalies, geriatric patients, and bariatric (weight-loss) surgery. She is experienced in labour anesthesia, particularly walking epidurals for pain relief during childbirth.

Dr. Ghali is an educator and has taught transesophageal echocardiography and supervised junior anesthesia trainees at the Leipzig Heart Centre in Germany. Her approach combines technical expertise with a focus on managing complex and challenging cases across diverse patient populations.
