Dr. Lama Elhossary

Dr Lama is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 12 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from the Jordanian University of Science and Technology in 2011 and completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in an accredited facility in the UAE. She practises at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi, where she manages a broad range of women's health needs.

Dr Lama has particular expertise in high-risk pregnancies, including twin pregnancies, pregnancies complicated by medical conditions, recurrent miscarriage, and preterm labour. She also manages vaginal birth after Caesarean section and bleeding disorders in pregnancy. For non-pregnancy care, she treats polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), infertility, female sexual dysfunction, contraception counselling, and adolescent gynaecological concerns.
