Dr. Nowreen Saraf

Dr. Nowreen Saraf is a Specialist Anesthesiologist at Medeor Hospital, Abu Dhabi, with 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS from the University of Jammu, India in 2007, and earned her MD in Anesthesiology from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India in 2014. She has worked across well-regarded healthcare institutions in India and the UAE, building broad expertise in perioperative anesthesia care.

Dr. Saraf specializes in orthopedic anesthesia—particularly for hip and knee replacements in older and younger patients—obstetric anesthesia, and complex airway management using advanced techniques such as fiberoptic and retrograde intubation. She is experienced in regional anesthesia blocks (brachial plexus, TAP, femoral, and ankle), anesthesia for robot-assisted surgery, and COVID ICU management. Her scope spans pre-operative assessment, intra-operative care, and post-operative pain and recovery management across diverse surgical cases.

Dr. Saraf is actively engaged in research and has published peer-reviewed work on spinal anesthesia and dexmedetomidine use in abdominal surgery. She holds BLS and ACLS certification and is committed to patient safety, medical ethics, and working collaboratively across surgical teams.
